Request Chugach Login Assistance
Please follow these directions completely to request login assistance:
1. If you have ever changed your password at the following website, you may be able to reset your own password by answering a few security questions. Please try this before contacting the CGS Service Desk.
2. If you have not setup a password self-service profile or for any reason cannot reset your password though this site, please go to a desktop or laptop computer with Internet access and call 907-550-7100. Service Desk technicians are available between 3:00 am - 5:00 pm Alaska Standard Time (7:00 am - 9:00 pm Eastern Standard Time). After a technician verifies your identity, you will be issued a temporary password. You will then change your temporary password at https://caps.chugachgov.com
Notice: Do not send us any Personally Identifiable Information other than your Legal Name and your Chugach Employee Number. DO NOT SEND YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO US, WE ALREADY HAVE THIS INFORMATION! Also, Only Chugach employees may receive support with password related issues. Further, they may only receive such support directly. Coworkers are encouraged to assist those needing extra assistance navigating the site but they will not be given information about passwords or other Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of any kind.
